Ametou was created with the vision to be much more than just a clothing label. By honouring the value chain and respecting the people and planet behind each piece, we create clothing that has a story. Each fabric is a work of art which is created by different cultures in their own traditions. We do not make new fabrics. We use existing fabrics, also called “deadstock”, to create something new, something rare – the designs reflect the rich diversity of different cultures.
Join the community and wear a statement for a more connected world!
It matters what you wear.

Saheli Women (which, in Hindi, means female friend) is a nonprofit ethical fashion social enterprise, located in the North-West of rural India. In a small village you will find a female atelier where around 70 women are creating beautiful designs and cloth. The focus is on sustainability and creating ethical fashion with a purpose. No plastic is used – only organic fabrics.
Their mission is: „to create employment for women in ethical fashion manufacturing to derive a sustainable livelihood that benefits themselves, their families and their communities.“
